About the experience
Rowhill Grange takes the tradition of afternoon tea very seriously. The bread for their fine finger sandwiches is freshly baked on-site, as are the delectable Bakewell tarts, scones and a selection of delectable cakes. In favourable weather, tea can be taken on the alfresco terrace, but the restaurant, brasserie and lounge are cosy and elegant for indoor dining. Refresh with a pot of the tea of your choice, as well as a glass of Champagne, chilled and sparkling, to elevate this from a wonderfully indulgent treat to a very special occasion indeed. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the Garden of England, you’ll feel all’s right with the world, as you continue the great British tradition of taking time out for high tea.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Available Monday–Thursday served between 12pm–5.30pm
- Subject to availability, you are welcome to upgrade to a weekend for a supplement, paid direct to the venue

- Due to high demand we recommend booking at least 8-12 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment

Champagne afternoon Tea
Very enjoyable tea, asked for more sandwiches than cakes , the fillings were really lovely also requested just cheese for my fussy husband and this was also undertaken. All requests were carried out with ease. Would recommend.

Poor customer management at Rowhill Grange
On arrival we were directed through the hotel to the bar. The recpetionist was pleasant but we were not treated as "looked after" guests. On arrival at the bar were immediately asked for a copy of our voucher. We did not have it with us and I had been given no indication that it would be needed. Even though we had been reminded of our booking the day before by Rowehill Grange, no mention had ever been made that we needed it, not then or when we booked. We then had a farcical 15 mins when it was being implied that we could not have the afternoon tea. The manager was called and he came up with no solutions. My wife then suggested that we could have the afternoon tea and forward the vouched by email after the event. This was accepted. Why on earth hadn't the manager suggest this to us? The whole fiasco spoilt the first half hour of our time. I would not return to Rowhill Grange. The afternoon tea was OK, and although very expensive for what we received, the quality was fine and probably no more expense than other similar venues. I have said below that I would not recommend Buyagift to a friend, not becuase of bad service by Buyagift but simply becuase I would never recommend anything like that.

Beautiful venue in Kent countryside
What a lovely afternoon in a place I never knew existed! A lovely champagne afternoon tea with a dear friend to celebrate my 70th birthday. The surroundings were very relaxing and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The staff were exemplary and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely come here again.
(would have given it 5 stars immediately but sadly the scones and two sandwiches were on the dry side - kitchen please note!)

Really nice afternoon tea at Rowhill Grange, wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and the cakes were amazing!! I've been to a few at this venue and always a memorable afternoon.
