What’s included?
- Drive a Type 3 Class 37 diesel locomotive for eight miles (around 60 minutes at the controls)

About the experience
Climb into the cab of a powerful Type 4 diesel locomotive running light engine without carriages, and experience the thrill of driving for eight miles along the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway in Wales and the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway. After a welcome and full safety briefing, you’ll spend around an hour at the controls, guided by a professional train driving instructor.
What do I need to know?

- Minimum age: 18 years
