Spa facilities poor
Our 40th wedding anniversary gift spoilt because of poor spa facilities. Stayed 2 hours instead of spending day. Sauna not working. Swimming pool cold to get in. Hose pipe being used to try and top up with hot water. Jacuzzi was cold. Only steam room working. Food ok for our afternoon tea. Staff friendly.
But avoid if you intend to spend spar day with afternoon tea.

Not great experience
Confirmation email said slippers and robe provided. Phone the day before to confirm nothing needed to take. No slippers provided. So afternoon tea in our robes with no slippers - we were asked to put on our wi ter boots with our robes. Also no key lookers available so nothing was safe

A fab relaxing spa day
What a lovely relaxing day my daughter and I had at the Mercure hotel, celebrating the end of her exams. The hotel is beautiful decorated. The staff were lovely and friendly. We went to the gym, then the pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and finally finished wirh afternoon tea. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate and relax after all her hard work.
