About the experience
Follow the Tower Bridge Exhibition route from the North Tower across the high-level walkway, including the Glass Floor, then continue to the Victorian Engine Rooms to finish the visit. Afterwards, settle in at the Shakedown Bar & Restaurant nearby for a two-course meal for two. It’s a great way to mix a historic London site with a relaxed meal close to the river.
What do I need to know?

- Tower Bridge is closed over the Christmas and New Year period
- The Shakedown Bar & Restaurant is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 1st January and bank holidays; 14th February is dinner only

60th Birthday present
Afternoon tea at the Georgian restaurant at Harrods was a gift from my daughter for my birthday.
It was such a wonderful day, the staff were very attentive, explained what all the filling were in the Sandwiches, and what the beautiful looking cakes were.
Everything was displayed so nicely.
The tea was plentiful.
Never felt if we were being rushed to finish, offered more Sandwiches when we finished our servings.
It was such a wonderful afternoon and truly brilliant gift.

Fantastic gift
We had a lovely day at Harlow Carr RHS garden. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting so there was plenty to see. Lots of unusual plants and trees to see and every plant was in good condition.

Worth the wait.
After having a couple of months difficulty redeeming our Buyagift experience, which was thankfully rectified by customer services. We managed to book RHS Bridgewater. It was definitely worth the wait. The grounds are great. The future plans look amazing.
The options for drinks and food were plentiful, albeit there was not that much choice and service was slow.
The shop was not quite as good as we had hoped. Neither was the garden centre. Yes there were some plants and they were quite reasonably priced. But there were not many garden accessories, tools, seeds etc…
That said it was still very much worth a visit and we will return…
