This was an excellent experience. We could not fault all the facilities, the staff were very professional, the room so comfortable. Meals delicious We’d have liked more information about the Manor’s history. The vegetarian options on the menu weren’t marked. Otherwise we struggle to find any improvements that could be made! Thanks for a delightful stay.

Lovely old manor house spotless friendly attentive staff who couldn't do enough to help luxurious pillows towels and toiletries. Breakfast fresh food really good quality evening meal again great service great food presented well couldn't fault it

Enjoyable stay in this hotel. Food was excellent. Room was very nice.
Met new owner on the day we arrived,had nice chat with him about bringing "The tired old lady up to scratch"
Depends on his plans really, for me the dining room was deathly quiet and lacked any atmosphere. It could definitely do with some background music.
There is nothing worse than listening to the sound of clanking cutlery and whispered conversation.
The bar was too small, Ii would definitely move it into one of the other larger rooms.
The grounds were beautiful and the views stunning.
I am not sure that deckchairs are the best solution from a comfort point of view.
Overall an enjoyable stay, I will be keeping an eye on what the new owners plans are going to be.

Really enjoyed our stay
We had a lovely time at Charingworth and were really impressed by the hotel, staff and food. Service was excellent and everyone was very efficient and friendly. The room was great and had everything you would need and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
