Seaside Break!
Very pleasant and helpful staff prior to booking and during our stay. Comfortable and clean rooms. Bathroom had walk in shower which was a bonus as I had requested not to have a shower over bath. Very good breakfast selection. Location near to restaurants, theatre and The Pier. Would stay at The York Hotel again.

Wonderful Gift
On arrival, the reception staff were friendly and polite and gave me all of the information that I would need to enjoy a stay with them. The rooms were clean and spacious and a beautiful sea view. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was first class, the food delicious and well presented and the staff were fabulous. I would recommend a stay here to anybody.

Highly recommend this hotel
Hotel was very clean and well looked after. Staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was on the seafront which was really nice. Great value for money for the two night stay, only 40 minutes away from Brighton as well which was nice. Would definitely book this hotel again. Only downside is the parking, it is very limited but we alway found a space with 10 minutes.

Great birthday experience
we upgraded our room for a sea view.It was a lovely large room with TV Tea making area and a very comfortable bed.,We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent.We had a drink sitting on the terrace enjoying the lights of Eastbourne and a brilliant summer evening in April!,The staff are very friendly and helpful they cannot do enough for you.

greatest gift
This was a Christmas gift from my daughter for my husband and I. We choice eastbourne and the hotel as it had a lot to offer with excellent rooms and a swimming pool. We spent the two days sight seeing and then back to the pool to cool off.
The staff were smart happy and friendly so all in all the perfect break.
