Dreadful hotel room so disappointing
After a lot of planning and a lot of miles driving we arrived to a pitiful twin room with old furnishings, sink in room and shared bathroom and toilet facilities which were not outlined on the booking website. We were aware it was an old pub so expected quaint olde worlde quirkiness but what we got was worse than any student accommodation I’ve ever seen. We were gifted the voucher from an elderly relative who had purchased the gift understanding we would be able to have a two night stay somewhere. We even added to the voucher and was only able to get one night. Thank god we were able to find alternative accommodation locally which we felt able to sleep in. We left The tree Inn within 10 mins of arriving and was so disappointed. Please remove the hotel from your page as we have found other reviews stating the same as us which I hadn’t seen before we booked. I would never have booked a shared toilet and bathroom if I’d known so feel the hotel description was misleading. We ended up paying £104 to stay elsewhere so any recompense you can send us would be appreciated

Fabulous hotel in a great location with great staff
Highly recommended! We really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to stay again. The rooms are lovely. They look recently renovated and are very nicely decorated.
The hotel is in a very good location surrounded with nature, so perfect for a nice walk and only 10 mins away (by car) from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Breakfast was lovely and they had a selection of something for everyone.
The staff were great. Explained everything as we arrived and were super helpful throughout our stay.
