We went to the slug and lettuce, hanover street - the food was very good and the service was excellent. The afternoon tea was much better than expected instead of just plain bread for the sandwiches it was focaccia and brioche and the dessert was very good quality. Surroundings were clean and beautifully presented. Very instagrammable and modern designs

Need time to book don't leave it last minute as may not get booked in. Was a great experience . Shame you can't add extra when there.

We were in Oxford for the weekend and found this for something to do on Saturday afternoon. We boarded the boat on time. The boat was very neat and tidy and powered by electricity so good for the environment. The skipper was 'Will' and he was very knowledgable and friendly. The picnic was very fresh and obviously had been prepared just before it was placed onto the boat in individual hampers. It was very nice indeed. The cruise lasted 3 hours and you even stooped off for 30-40 minutes on an island for a drink. A very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

My friends bought me a theatre voucher for my 60th birthday. Although the choice of shows is limited, there were plenty that we wanted to see. The main problem was that we can only go to London on Saturdays and, as you would expect, most of the shows were sold out. The price to upgrade to extend the tickets was crazy so in the end we plumped for Wicked as it was the only show with seats available. Similarly the only seats you could buy with the voucher we had were literally the furthest possible from the stage, and again the price to upgrade was crazy. However we could still see and definitely hear everything. The show itself was incredible- the theatre front of house staff were all lovely and very welcoming and the show was phenomenal. A fantastic gift!!
