Christmas Gifts for the Adventurous Family

The day out was great in all respects. But we had been given a gift and could choose anything up to the gift price. We knew we had to buy the experience before Sunday, but thought, due to all the BuyaGift pages saying, 'valid for a year', that once noted it was valid for a year. No. The experience had to be taken by the expiry date too and that's not made clear enough. Luckily we had decided to do it now so did not lose out. It costs £20 to extend the voucher. So I'd say, don't bother with an open voucher that can be used for anything, get the experience itself. Added to which, I was emailed a load of cheaper offers for the same experience but couldn't use them as I had been given a gift voucher. It was all a bit frustrating, but the day out, seeing the animals and tea were great.

All the kit is provided. The person in charge is very skilled and gave excellent instructions

I bought go ape adventure for my kids and my nephew, 15, 11 & 10 years boys. They loved it so much, it was the first time for them. It was slightly complicated booking as I had previously purchased gift card which was not used, but the buyagift team sorted out instantly. The 'go ape' team were really helpful, from the beginning till the end. I would definitely recommend them and we will definitely go back for further challenges.

We were bought a gift and I found using the voucher and booking our experience really easy. The Prehistoric-planet experience was great and my 7 year old absolutely loved it.

Really efficient setup at go ape and not too busy in wach session. The treetop adventure is perfect for primary age kids who can feel confident on all the obstacles. The zip line ending adds to the fun.

This was a gift for our sons 12th birthday which had us as a family laughing the entire course! Highly recommend as an activity that the entire family, whatever the age, can really enjoy

Fun experience on the Thames for adrenaline seekers. There is also information about London on the slower part of the ride out towards the part of the river available for the speedier trip. A little bumpy at times - no issue but just to bear in mind to prep ahead of you suffer from motion sickness. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we've done go ape with my 5 &8 year old. Friendly, supportive staff and great outdoor experience to challenge the kids.

Absolutely great fun, definitely recommend it.
