A wonderful day with a group of 5, touring all the behind the scenes departments on the steam railway. Changing points, waving the guards flag to start the train, trip on the footplate, operating the signal box, review of the restoration projects. Loads of friendly people to show you what they doing, great guide throughout the day. A great day whether you are a railway nut or not!

17 April 2016
Absolutely excellent day, from start to finis. Andy our guide was brilliant and the people that were in our group, the Tees family, were very sociable. The driver and fireman on the steam train were great and very enthusiatic about steam trains. I want to go again. This was a treat for my husband as a present but I obviously went along as I love steam trains as well. Highly recommended.
