Afternoon Tea in Gloucestershire

The afternoon tea at Stanton Manor Hotel was one of the best I’ve had. There were dainty sandwiches (with crusts cut off), small bites of 3 different types of cake & both plain & fruit scones with jam & cream or maybe cream & jam if you prefer! The staff were friendly but didn’t hover around you. We were offered refills of tea on several occasions without having to ask. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so we took the time to walk around the garden & then just enjoy the peace & quiet in the shade of an umbrella on the patio. A fabulous way to spend an afternoon & would definitely go back.

The whole experience was a delight from arriving to departure. All the staff were welcoming, pleasant but not overbearing. The lounge was clean and a relaxing atmosphere. All the food was delicious and well presented.

Beautiful setting overlooking the river. Good weather enabled tea to be taken outside but we were given a choice on this. Staff were welcoming and attentive without interfering. Good choice of food provided.

Lovely afternoon tea in a great location in Manchester city centre A?

This was definitely the best afternoon tea we have experienced. The setting was beautiful and the friendly staff very accomodating to make our visit a memorable occasion. The flavours of the selection of items in the afternoon tea were delicious and a delightful experience. The homemade lemon curd to go with the lavender scones was our favourite treat. We would really like to revisit this venue sometime soon.
