Absolutely Fantastic Experience
What a wonderful day we had on the Belmond train. Everything was absolutely perfect from the time we arrived at the Belmond lounge at Victoria Station to the time we disembarked. We were greeted outside the lounge by singers and then went inside the lounge to have wine before embarking on the train. We then had champagne before a fantastic SIX course meal which was absolutely amazing, while we travelled down to Dover admiring the beautiful Kentish countryside. Plenty of wine onboard the train and served by brilliant very smartly dressed, friendly staff who were so attentive. I bought this trip as a gift for my husband's 70th birthday and although it might seem a lot of money it was worth every single penny. We were treated like a King and Queen for the day. The singers, who boarded the train with us even sang a happy birthday to my husband. A day we will never forget. Highly recommend.

Remarkable luxury, beautiful 1920’s ambience, food to remember, brilliant singers - Belmond Pullman experience just outstanding in every way. Soooo enjoyed!

What a great day!
We were bought this day as a birthday present, and what a great present it was. From the first greeting to the last goodbye, it was a memorable day. The staff were the real stars and the food they served was of a high standard. No shortage of drinks and top-ups. One small comment - the train travelled through the countryside from Victoria to Dover and back again - most of it seemed through urban rather than rural areas
