Step into The Cooking Academy for a focused half-day knife skills masterclass that turns everyday prep into something effortless. Start with tea or coffee before your tutor demonstrates safe, efficient ways to chop, slice and dice, then put each technique into practice on vegetables, herbs and chicken. Learn classic cuts such as julienne, baton and chiffonade, joint a chicken with confidence and finish by cooking a fresh stir-fry from the ingredients prepared in class.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Available week round, year round
• Minimum age: 13 years
• Supplementary charge applies for vegan or kosher dietary requirements; vegan surcharge is typically around £10 per day and kosher costs are confirmed per class
• Knife skills class can cater for vegetarians, vegans and guests with gluten intolerance
• Please wear comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes; flip-flops and open-toed shoes are not permitted
• Use of cooking equipment and ingredients
• Please inform the venue of any dietary requirements at the point of booking
• Changes made with less than 28 days’ notice may result in the booking or voucher being forfeited
• Dietary requirements must be provided 24 hours after booking and allergies should be discussed with the provider at least 28 days before the class
• There is no disabled access
• Please bring suitable containers to take home food prepared in class
