Head to The Cooking Academy with a fellow food lover for a half-day knife skills masterclass designed for two. Start with tea or coffee before your tutor talks through safe, efficient ways to handle a knife, then work side by side practising chopping, slicing and dicing on vegetables, herbs and chicken. Master classic cuts including julienne, baton and chiffonade, learn to joint a chicken as a team and round things off by cooking a stir-fry from your prepared ingredients.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Available week round, year round
• Minimum age: 13 years
• Supplementary charge applies for vegan or kosher dietary requirements; vegan surcharge is typically around £10 per day and kosher costs are confirmed per class
• Dietary information is requested in advance and the provider aims to accommodate or find a suitable workaround for all requirements
• Please wear comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes; flip-flops and open-toed shoes are not permitted
• Use of cooking equipment and ingredients
• Please bring suitable containers to take home food prepared in class
• Please inform the venue of any dietary requirements at the point of booking
• Changes made with less than 28 days’ notice may result in the booking or voucher being forfeited
