Horse Riding Lesson at Pevlings Farm

Pevlings Farm horse riding experience was brilliant! Alison was very efficient with my booking & also allowed me to book my son in as an additional extra. Saffron was a great instructor and immediately put both myself and my son at ease. We loved it and would highly recommend this to anyone.

I don’t know where to begin but the whole experience was absolutely brilliant. My 4 yr old and 8 yr old girls both had a great time. The stables leaders and volunteers were on hand to welcome us and assign horses. The Pony Club volunteers led each of the riders through a grooming demonstration and saddled the pony’s ready for riding making sure everything was safe and secure. The riders were lent hats if they did not have their own (mine didn’t) and the hats were clean and all equipment sterilised between use. After mounting the volunteers led the horses with riders to the arena area where the leader led the riders through a series of manoeuvres on the horses each tailored to the rider’s abilities. Everyone was welcoming. Please don’t forget to bring a little cash to tip as the volunteers who lead the horses are there for their fun and learning too (all very experienced riders, all young ladies who volunteer to the stables in their spare time). I really cannot fault anything about the experience at all and even when ny eldest was unsure and wanted to dismount everyone was so helpful and reassuring.

What a fantastic afternoon! loved every minute. The teacher was brilliant and experience was very well organised. Lovely setting and so lucky it was a lovely sunny day !

My two children had a great time even though it was lashing down with rain. The two young ladies that took their session were attentive, fun, and welcoming.
