About the experience
Enjoy a magical day out at Port Lympne Reserve with afternoon tea for two adults and one child, followed by entry to the spectacular illuminated light trail. Tuck into a tasty selection of sweet and savoury treats before exploring the enchanting after-dark trail. Wander through beautifully lit woodland paths and gardens, brought to life with glowing animal sculptures and festive displays. It’s a special way to celebrate the season and make lasting memories together.
What do I need to know?
- This experience is available for two adults and one child
- This experience is available week round, from 27th November to 3rd January excluding December 25th
- You may arrive from 2pm and stay for 2–4 hours
- Afternoon tea is served from 2:15 PM until 5:15 PM
- Minimum age is 10 years old but must be accompanied by an adult if under 18

Great day out
The day out was great in all respects. But we had been given a gift and could choose anything up to the gift price. We knew we had to buy the experience before Sunday, but thought, due to all the BuyaGift pages saying, 'valid for a year', that once noted it was valid for a year. No. The experience had to be taken by the expiry date too and that's not made clear enough. Luckily we had decided to do it now so did not lose out. It costs £20 to extend the voucher. So I'd say, don't bother with an open voucher that can be used for anything, get the experience itself. Added to which, I was emailed a load of cheaper offers for the same experience but couldn't use them as I had been given a gift voucher. It was all a bit frustrating, but the day out, seeing the animals and tea were great.

Gorilla encounter
Me and my daughter came for the gorilla encounter today 29/6 what amazing experience to feed the silver back and his family ontop of there enclosure. It was an honour. I can’t recommend this experience enough. We had the best day. Thank you port lympne zoo I salute you
