Lovely family atmosphere

Just had a lovely couple of days here. You really feel the relaxed atmosphere when you go in and Nicky and Mark the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice, tidy and clean with all you need for a short break. The building itself is quirky and well maintained with lots of nice little touches that keep you looking out of interest, much nicer than these large sterile modern hotels. Breakfast was good and we had a great evening in the bar with Mark and some other guests, a real "must" to get the background and feeling of the place. We would happily go back to see them when the opportunity arises.

Absolutely stunning- such a joy.

The day we planned to go had awful weather, and Roger made a change of date very easy. We were welcomed and shown all the birds with a very informative commentary from Chris, then we flew our favourite birds: Dottie and Diego, black and red kites, then the magnificent Earl; Great.Grey Owl. The shop was great too. A great day.!
