Steam day tea for two

Didcot day out. We picked a day with lots of engines running. Very helpful staff and volunteers who were happy to talk about anything (including the trains). Make sure you exchange your gift voucher a few days before you want to go.

Lovely place to visit , well maintained grounds and good history of trains . Staff in cafe a little sour but good experience overall. Slight walk from car park at main station especially if mobility is not too good .

Really enjoyable day. This was a gift for my partner. A self confessed steam train geek! Unlimited rides on the trains. So many engines restored or on the process of being restored. Take a picnic to enjoy in the picnic area or eat in the canteen. We had free cake of which there were many to choose from including gluten free. A mug of proper tea. Staff were polite and helpful and the engine and museum staff knowledgeable.

Lots to see here if you're a rail fan and plenty of opportunity to ride behind steam and diesel loco's. Cakes and pasties were very tasty. We would love to go again

We had a lovely day looking round the railway, unlimited rides on the trains if you wanted. Lots to see and a coffee and very nice cake as well! Everyone very friendly and helpful.
