What a location!
This was our second stay at Rutland Hall. We enjoyed it so much last year we booked again. A wonderful hotel, and I’d honestly say one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I’ve had. An excellent base for those wishing to enjoy beautiful Rutland water, and the use of the leisure complex for a swim in the fabulous pool after a long walk was very welcome. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Rutland hall hotel
We felt that the room we received for the amount paid was not a high standard, there wasn't even a wardrobe or anywhere to hang a coat. The hotel and food was very good just the room that was disappointing.

A very welcome break
We enjoyed a very welcome break at Rutland Water, using our buyagift voucher. The hotel is in a beautiful setting within easy reach of Rutland Water. We brought our e-trikes with us, so we could cycle along the shores. We set off after an excellent hotel breakfast, and had a perfect break away from home.

Very disappointed
I had to pay extra for breakfast. The indoor pool was freezing cold. No booking in or towels provided. Mud walked in pool side as entrance was directly at pool. Showers were cold. No room for families in changing room. Seal on door of steak room broken. No signs for the actual spa or wellbeing centre. Hardly any staff in bar actually serving. It was the only place to get food on a Sunday evening and main meal £30 but very small portions. It was all very disjointed, lack of customer service. No fridge in room. Cheap coffee in room. I have had a better stay in an ibis hotel. Breakfast had good selection which was positive. Bed uncomfortable. Such a shame as location is lovely.
