Beautiful place
Rutland Hall Hotel is set in beautiful gardens. The room we had was nice with all amenities expected were provided.
The resturant was first class for evening meal although somewhat expensive. Service was excellent. Breakfast was good with a good variety of different foods on offer. However, the cooked breakfast food was only warm and some of it could only be described as cold. Just bear in mind that if you have mobility issues it can be a long step stair climb from some locations. Added to that the lift was not working during our stay.

A great afternoon tea!
The afternoon tea at Rutland Hall Hotel was brilliant - a warm welcome from the attentive and friendly staff combined with really tasty food in really comfortable surroundings. The food was very good indeed and very generous portions - we ended up taking some away with us as we were full! The background music was very well chosen, and at just the right level to be clearly audible without being imposing. The only criticism is there was a noisy ventilation fan near where we sat, which just took the edge off the ambience of the room…..

A very welcome break
We enjoyed a very welcome break at Rutland Water, using our buyagift voucher. The hotel is in a beautiful setting within easy reach of Rutland Water. We brought our e-trikes with us, so we could cycle along the shores. We set off after an excellent hotel breakfast, and had a perfect break away from home.
