We have just enjoyed an excellent prosecco afternoon tea at the Swan at Hay Hotel, Hay-on-Wye. Simple, non-fussy finger sandwiches, lovely scones, Welsh Cakes, Bara Brith, chicolate brownies, and lemon drizzle cake along with a large pot of tea. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff are lovely.

Afternoon tea with champagne for two at this wonderful venue was a delight. The staff were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The savoury sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the choice of tea was extensive. The decor was tropical and the bone china matched the wallpaper! We will both be celebrating here in the future!

Slug & Lettuce Durham . Booking the table with the voucher QR code was straight forward and without any issues. Booked table for 5:00pm and on arrival we were shown to the table . Staff were good and the young lady explained the menu we were using and the choices relating to our voucher. The menu was not big on choice but we did have a choice of starters and main courses as well as dessert. Having a 2 course dining experience we chose a starter and a main . The starter was very nice and the main course was also very nice . Overall the meal was well presented, hot and tasty. Well worth the voucher cost . Would definitely consider another meal here using the buyagift voucher option.

Hotel is only a few minutes from Ilkley town centre so is ideally positioned. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and professional. The room was excellent and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. All in all we had a wonderful stay

My friends bought me a theatre voucher for my 60th birthday. Although the choice of shows is limited, there were plenty that we wanted to see. The main problem was that we can only go to London on Saturdays and, as you would expect, most of the shows were sold out. The price to upgrade to extend the tickets was crazy so in the end we plumped for Wicked as it was the only show with seats available. Similarly the only seats you could buy with the voucher we had were literally the furthest possible from the stage, and again the price to upgrade was crazy. However we could still see and definitely hear everything. The show itself was incredible- the theatre front of house staff were all lovely and very welcoming and the show was phenomenal. A fantastic gift!!

We went to the slug and lettuce, hanover street - the food was very good and the service was excellent. The afternoon tea was much better than expected instead of just plain bread for the sandwiches it was focaccia and brioche and the dessert was very good quality. Surroundings were clean and beautifully presented. Very instagrammable and modern designs

Great hotel staff very professional faculties suoerb

This was a birthday gift and it was just fantastic. The staff were so attentive and very welcoming, huge smiles from the waiters who didnt treat us any differently due to having a gift card like we have experienced elsewhere. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was truly delicious, so much so that we have decided to return and bring some friends. I cant find one fault with this restaurant well done team !

Fantastic afternoon. We both ordered pizza and then ordered drinks. Bar tender was really attentive. Kept an eye on our glasses and regularly came to see what we wanted to drink next. My pizza went cold whilst I was taking my time and he went and re heated it for me. I didn’t like one cocktail, not a problem. Quickly changed it for another. Had a fabulous 2 hours sitting chatting and trying all the cocktails on the menu.
