We arrived early for our afternoon tea but were told that we could be seated and were served promptly. Staff were friendly and efficient and the selection of sandwiches and sweet treats were amazing, with types a little bit different to the usual afternoon teas we have had previously.The cocktails were delicious too. Well done to the Slug and Lettuce.

We went to the Best Western Normanton Hotel for afternoon tea on the 18 March. We had been there last week to meet up with friends, so we knew how well we would be looked after. The whole experience was very good with excellent service. I am Gluten Free and although telling them when I booked it when we got there it hadn’t been passed on to the kitchen staff. However it didn’t spoil our afternoon. We had a glass each of ‘bubbles’. The food was very varied and was very tasty. My husband had a selection similar to mine on a separate stand. We had to ask for a box so we could take what we couldn’t eat. So we have some lovely cakes etc still to enjoy. Thank you very much for everything.
