Short Breaks in Devon

Booked this as a gift for my husband and we both went together. Beautiful pod with its own fishing peg, clean and warm and so comfy, small fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster and a little bit of storage space was absolutely perfect just for the night or possibly 2. Met the owners and they were absolutely lovely and really helpful couldn’t ask for more! Toilet block was a very short walk away with a little washing up station they were absolutely immaculate. Would definitely recommend.

Roomzzz was fantastic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hatton Court Hotel in November 2025. The staff were friendly , polite and very helpful, the bedrooms were spacious, the food was very well presented and it was delicious. The deal we had was for 2 nights' stay with breakfast included on both mornings and £25 towards 1 evenings' meal. Afternoon tea was also included. As the restaurant was so good, we actually ate at the hotel on the second night too. Although the hotel is a little remote, there are some great views of the town and surrounding countryside. We visited Gloucester Docks and Gloucester Cathedral too. Well worth a visit. Looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend The Hatton Court Hotel.

Lovely venue at Stan hill court although an extra supplement was needed above the price of the voucher. Good venue, good food and a free upgrade for a wedding anniversary although no reference to the anniversary and no other freebies which we usually get from Other hotels! Menu wasn’t huge but the food was excellent and really well presented. Lovely location although you have to pay £10 for parking above the cost of the voucher and the extra charge!

We had a lovely time. The room was lovely , had a balcony that opened out to the canal . The food in the restaurant was amazing . The spa was lovely and relaxing and had plenty of treatments on offer . We would definitely rebook to do it again

Lovely hotel and was well situated for all the events and activities we required in central Newcastle

Great choice of venues and the booking process was very straightforward.

Very peaceful and relaxing. The pods are clean,warm and cosy. The bed is comfy and large. You can park next to the pod. The shower and toilet blocks are modern, clean and heated. There is a washing up block and also a laundrette. There is a fridge, freezer and microwave in there as well. All clean and modern. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The site is safe as there are barriers at the entrance and no one can access the site between 11:30pm - 7:30 am.

The package was excellent value. The venue was superb and staff welcoming and friendly.

We were given a room in the annexe next to The Malthouse, as we'd noticed they have a lot of live music. The room was perfect - comfortable and warm enough with a nice ensuite bathroom. Plenty of choice at breakfast in the main hotel, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Ironbridge is a pretty town with river walks and plenty to explore. Many thanks for a relaxing break!
