Short Breaks In East Midlands

Stayed in Leeds Novotel. Room was really nice and emaculately clean. The restaurant and food was fantastic. Our whole stay was very enjoyable and we would love to stay there again.Location to the city centre is only a 5 minute walk. Would highly recommendx

Was brought this for Christmas and used it last month to just have a couples away perfect gift for someone or yourself just to get away

Just had a lovely couple of days here. You really feel the relaxed atmosphere when you go in and Nicky and Mark the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice, tidy and clean with all you need for a short break. The building itself is quirky and well maintained with lots of nice little touches that keep you looking out of interest, much nicer than these large sterile modern hotels. Breakfast was good and we had a great evening in the bar with Mark and some other guests, a real "must" to get the background and feeling of the place. We would happily go back to see them when the opportunity arises.

So this gift was excellent. I chose this glamping location because as a keen fisherman, being located on a lovely lake it was perfect. The site was clean , tidy and well laid out. The owners look after the site and the toilets and washrooms were spotless. The pod was clean and well laid out, with enough essential to see my wife and I through. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for an extra two nights. Loved it and the fishing was great.

We spent 3 wonderful days at Whittlebury Park Hotel & Spa celebrating my husband’s incredible achievement of completing 10 marathons in 10 days. Our stay included breakfast and a three-course dinner on both evenings, along with full access to the spa and pool facilities, all of which exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who truly enhanced our experience. We had an absolutely fantastic time and left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already looking forward to our next visit. We cannot wait to return.

Had a brilliant relaxing spa break with friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our treatments. Sammy was very professional and used the perfect amount of pressure for me on the back, neck and shoulder massage, firm but not painful! And the hydrating facial was just lovely. The Heat and Ice stations were all clean with clear instructions, the jacuzzi and pool both warm and well maintained. We had a hot and cold buffet at lunch, a three course meal in the evening and a lovely buffet breakfast the next morning, all with a lot of choice to suit most tastes. Rooms were comfortable and clean with ESPA toiletries. Will certainly return.

We were given a room in the annexe next to The Malthouse, as we'd noticed they have a lot of live music. The room was perfect - comfortable and warm enough with a nice ensuite bathroom. Plenty of choice at breakfast in the main hotel, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Ironbridge is a pretty town with river walks and plenty to explore. Many thanks for a relaxing break!

I honestly can’t highly recommend this place enough. Me and my partner broke down on the way hear and thought we wouldn’t make it to our booking. The staff were amazing. When we arrived late the staff were so friendly. The glamping pods are just what you need very spacious and look out onto the lake. So beautiful in a morning.

We bought for ourselves as a Christmas treat for ourselves and the process is so simple and the venue is perfect for an overnight retreat with superb facilities and food.
