Historic Attractions

One of the greatest things about life in the UK is that history is everywhere. Each part of the UK has its own historic, cultural and architectural past and with cathedrals, stone circles, museums, World Heritage Sites and more, there’s no better place to soak up some history. We’ve got a plethora of historic attractions just waiting to be discovered, so head out and discover fascinating landmarks on a historic day out.

Historic Days Out in London

London is home to some of the most iconic attractions in the UK, so why not enjoy some sightseeing in the Capital? Soak up the heritage with an educational day out exploring the city’s famous landmarks. If you love all things royal, head to the Tower of London, where you'll find the Crown Jewels under armed guard in the Jewel House! Or, perhaps head to St Paul’s Cathedral to experience a wonderful mix of religious history, striking architecture and spectacular artwork.

Famous Historic Landmarks in the South East

If you think you'd prefer to see a historic attraction outside of a big city, take a peek at our selection of attractions in South East England. Perhaps visit one of the most quintessentially English institutions in the country, the majestic Kew Gardens and Palace, nestled amidst the sumptuous Surrey countryside? Or, if you love nautical history, head to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and enjoy unlimited access to all the major attractions, which include HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860, Horrible Histories® Pirates: The Exhibition and more!

Historic Experience Days for Families

We also offer fantastic family days out which are the perfect way for you to spend time with your loved ones. Children and adults alike will be amazed by the English Heritage sites, country houses and castles of the UK. Hop aboard a sightseeing river cruise on the Thames to get a glimpse of the iconic London landmarks, visit Kew Palace, which dates back to 1631, or board a steam train to experience locomotive history first hand.

Fantastic

I did this with my 11 year old daughter and she loved every second of it. Best bit is that it really opens your eyes to what scuba diving is about and by the end we were both so confident about being under the water and had an absolute blast! The team were great and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
