60th Birthday present

Afternoon tea at the Georgian restaurant at Harrods was a gift from my daughter for my birthday. It was such a wonderful day, the staff were very attentive, explained what all the filling were in the Sandwiches, and what the beautiful looking cakes were. Everything was displayed so nicely. The tea was plentiful. Never felt if we were being rushed to finish, offered more Sandwiches when we finished our servings. It was such a wonderful afternoon and truly brilliant gift.

I thought the display of sandwiches and cakes were excellent,although we did not like the curry sandwiches but still ate them to be polite the staff was excellent,all in all we will be using you again thankyou.

Beautiful location & amazing food

Visit this area of the lake district often but never seen the Broadoaks County House as its not on a main road. Easy to find though. Set in beautiful grounds, with outside eating area if the weather is good. We were greeted warmly, table settings were immaculate, afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, refills to tea and coffee readily available on request. So much that some of the treats were boxed up for us to take home (we weren't the only ones to do that haha) Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a special treat.
