Summer of Afternoon Tea

A great value afternoon tea. Good quality food and drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I took my husband to Marco Pierre White Steakhouse for his birthday, the steak were lovely - we had a view of the skyline of Birmingham - admittedly it was raining but it has made us want to return, when the weather is clear for cocktails or afternoon tea. We paid and upgraded to filet steak - initial thoughts, was it was small - but it was more than enough with the extras, we paid for. The service was quick prompt and the staff friendly. The Cube is a great alternative to the Shard, if you can't get to London - not quiet the dame views, but food was great!

A lovely afternoon looking out across the Birmingham skyline on a bright sunny afternoon. The afternoon tea was so plentiful that we could not eat it all and had to bring some home! Plenty of hot tea, with refills on request. Would highly recommend.

I bought it as a birthday treat for my friend . We really enjoyed it . Came with 4 complimentary drinks . Couldn’t finish it as it was very garnished . Do recommend .

We had a fantastic day at Shawsgate Vineyard. The tour was extremely informative and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The lunch consisted of cheese, ham, salad and bread with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. There was no choice, but the food was good. The wine tasting involved quite a lot of wine, and we were able to choose a glass of our favourite for lunch - something to consider if you are driving! I would highly recommend this!

This was a fantastic experience my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. I had several pots of tea and my husband had many cappuccinos. We had extra sandwiches and then couldn’t eat all our scones and cakes but they were boxed up for us. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will go again

Sumptuous medieval castle in picturesque surroundings, just the best location for a luxurious afternoon tea. Set in the library with 24ft ceiling, high windows, chandeliers, a warm fire burning and comfortable armchairs, just gorgeous. The afternoon tea was obviously just made as so fresh and absolutely delicious. Followed by a boardgame in the lounge afterwards with drinks. Perfect afternoon, what a treat.
