Summer of Afternoon Tea

Loved the afternoon tea and the voucher was really easy to use.

The day out was great in all respects. But we had been given a gift and could choose anything up to the gift price. We knew we had to buy the experience before Sunday, but thought, due to all the BuyaGift pages saying, 'valid for a year', that once noted it was valid for a year. No. The experience had to be taken by the expiry date too and that's not made clear enough. Luckily we had decided to do it now so did not lose out. It costs £20 to extend the voucher. So I'd say, don't bother with an open voucher that can be used for anything, get the experience itself. Added to which, I was emailed a load of cheaper offers for the same experience but couldn't use them as I had been given a gift voucher. It was all a bit frustrating, but the day out, seeing the animals and tea were great.

The Afternoon tea was fresh and a very good selection of savoury and sweet.would have again.it was a gift from my granddaughter.

I took my husband to Marco Pierre White Steakhouse for his birthday, the steak were lovely - we had a view of the skyline of Birmingham - admittedly it was raining but it has made us want to return, when the weather is clear for cocktails or afternoon tea. We paid and upgraded to filet steak - initial thoughts, was it was small - but it was more than enough with the extras, we paid for. The service was quick prompt and the staff friendly. The Cube is a great alternative to the Shard, if you can't get to London - not quiet the dame views, but food was great!

A lovely afternoon looking out across the Birmingham skyline on a bright sunny afternoon. The afternoon tea was so plentiful that we could not eat it all and had to bring some home! Plenty of hot tea, with refills on request. Would highly recommend.

This was a fantastic experience my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. I had several pots of tea and my husband had many cappuccinos. We had extra sandwiches and then couldn’t eat all our scones and cakes but they were boxed up for us. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will go again

We had a fantastic day at Shawsgate Vineyard. The tour was extremely informative and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The lunch consisted of cheese, ham, salad and bread with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. There was no choice, but the food was good. The wine tasting involved quite a lot of wine, and we were able to choose a glass of our favourite for lunch - something to consider if you are driving! I would highly recommend this!
