A wonderful relaxing day with great facilities and tasty food - a real treat

Bought 4 vouchers on buy a gift for a spa day, vouchers were fairly easy to redeem. I had a problem with one and customer care were very helpful. As soon as redeemed the hotel contacted me and they were brilliant organising a time and date and which treatment we would like. On arrival everyone was friendly and explained where to go. We started with afternoon tea which was lots different sandwiches and sweet treats to choose from. We then went to the pool and spa area which was lovely and clean and not too busy. We also could help ourselves to relaxing room and vold and hot drinks. We then had spa treatment very relaxing and adapted to suit. Highly recommend. Amazing for price and great quality. X

Great treatments and afternoon

What an amazing day took my mother in law for a treat we was treated so well we was pampered with wonderful treatment and spent all day using the facilities e even joined in the splash aerobics class the afternoon tea was so nice we even got to wat outside on the terrace with stunning views we will definitely be going again and using buy a gift which in my opinion is great value for money

The facilities are great sauna, steam room, pool with loungers and refreshments room upstairs with coffee, tea, water and juice complementary the back treatment was incredible and the afternoon tea was great. Amazing experience and the price was great

We really enjoyed our spa day with afternoon tea at Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel. The staff were so friendly and polite. The facilities were excellent and the afternoon tea was fantastic. They catered brilliantly for my dairy free diet. Compliments to the chef.

Our day at the spa was glorious. So relaxing. The only thing that let it down a little, was the pool area looked a bit tired. The water though, was lovely a warm. The afternoon tea was perfect & the 50 minute massage sublime. Definitely well worth the money & a future purchase.

We loved every minute of our treatments I had the hot stone massage and my husband had the back ,neck and shoulder one, both of us felt so relaxed afterwards. The staff was lovely and so helpful we'll definitely be going back in the future 5 stars from us

Everything went smoothly and we had an enjoyable day. The hotel was accommodating when we asked whether we could have our afternoon tea earlier than we'd originally requested.

Really enjoyed everthing from moment we checked in the receptionst was very pleasant told us to help ourselves to a hot drink then she explained what our day would be The changing rooms was comfortable and clean then we went into the swimmimg pool which was brillant tryed the steam rooms also they where good as well and to top it off we had our afternoon tea which was excellent served by very lovely lady that nothing was to much trouble to her she made us feel very comfortable all in all very relaxing day

Everything was very organised and staff were really friendly.
